Bawumia Hajia Samira Join Fellow Muslims To Welcome Ramadan Fast

The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has expressed his family's joy in joining fellow Muslims to welcome the holy Islamic month, Ramadan.
Muslims across the world are obliged to fast for a month in the Islamic month of Ramadan and Ghana officially joins the world to start the fast today following announcement last night by the National Chief Imam of the sighting of the Ramadan crescent in the country.
In a message posted on his social media handles last night, Dr. Bawumia expressed immense joy at joining fellow Muslims with his wife to welcome the holy month of Ramadan.
He urged Muslims to cease the chance to renew their commitments to Allah, show compassion to the poor and the needy as well as pray for loved ones and the nation.

Hajia Samira and I, join fellow Muslims to welcome the blessed month of Ramadan, with immense joy.
Ramadan presents a distinct chance to all of us, to renew our commitment to the Almighty Allah, as well as show love and compassion to the poor and the needy.
Let us also use this month of devotion and sacrifice, to pray for our loved ones and our dear nation, Ghana. Ramadan Kareem.
