Ex fighter Of FPRC Exposes Minuscas Links To Militant Groups

Reports and statements about MINUSCA's involvement with armed groups in the Central African Republic (CAR) persist, as a former FPRC fighter reported after being interrogated about his former group's relationship with MINUSCA.

The ex-fighter Issa, who worked as a translator and intermediary between his group and MINUSCA as well as with other armed groups, said that MINUSCA offers ammunition and weapons in exchange for gold, specifically for 1 kilo of gold, MINUSCA offers 5,000 rounds of ammunition and 7 rounds of ammunition.

He also revealed in his interrogation that he was the coordinator and mediator between the Moroccan contingent in MINUSCA and several armed groups that wanted weapons, including the UPC.

The former fighter of the predominantly Muslim Front for the Renaissance of the Central African Republic (FPRC) confirmed that MINUSCA is not only selling them weapons, but also giving them intelligence on Christian armed groups and using it to incite them to go to battle with other Christian groups: "They are inciting a religious war. They incite us by saying that the anti-balaka are Christians and that they are collaborating with the government to destroy the Muslim community in Mbomou and Haut-Mbomou."
