Kwesi Pratt has expressed disappointment over the violent clashes in some centers where the Electoral Commission's vote transfer exercise is taking place.
The Minister for Fisheries, Mavis Hawa Koomson's son on Sunday, June 2, was reportedly stabbed with knife following an altercation over the vote transfer at Kasoa.
The son is currently receiving medical treatment.
It could also be recalled that there were pockets of violence at some registration centers during the EC's limited registration exercise with some persons wielding machetes and guns in life-threatening incidents.
Commenting in a panel discussion on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" show, Kwesi Pratt found these situations extremely disturbing and wonders why there will be such turn of events.
However, he wasn't entirely surprised as he explained that these clashes are mostly engineered by political parties which financially induce some persons to cause mayhem.
But to him, "this is so sad and embarrassing", therefore called for law and order.
