The visit, led by Captain Thomas Partey, included a congratulatory note to Dr. Aboagye on his new role and appreciation for the NHIA's efforts in enhancing healthcare benefits.
The Black Stars expressed gratitude to the NHIA for the enhanced health benefits and pledged to collaborate with the authority to promote wellness and healthy habits through sports and exercise.
The players emphasised the importance of this partnership in fostering a healthier community.
Dr. Aboagye, in turn, thanked the team for their support and encouraged them to become advocates for the NHIA and the broader health sector.
He extended his best wishes to the Black Stars for their upcoming World Cup qualification matches.
The Black Stars are scheduled to play against the Eagles of Mali in Bamako on Thursday, June 6, 2024, as part of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Matchday three qualifiers.
