Bawumia Sets Kumasi Magazine Agog As Thousands Of Artisans Happily Welcome Him

The busy automobile hub of Kumasi, Magazine, came to a standstill Tuesday morning during the visit of Vice President and NPP flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Dr. Bawumia is on a three-day campaign tour of the Ashanti Region and after a busy opening day in which he met a number of groups including the Clergy, Imams and traditional rulers, Dr. Bawumia turned his campaign on the streets and in markets on day 2, starting with a visit to the popular automobile hub.
Upon the arrival of the blue Bawumia campaign bus, activities at the place came to a halt as thousands of artisans and traders welcomed him and his entourage in ecstasy.
Dr. Bawumia was accompanied by NPP stalwarts; Chief of Staff, Akosua Osei Frema Opare, the party's National Chairman, Steven Ntim, Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, a number of Ministers and Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong among others.
The ecstatic mammoth crowd numbered in their thousands reserved the loudest cheer for the man of the moment, Bawumia, who waved at them.
