Independent Parliamentarians Advocacy Group Launched To Reshape Ghanas Political Landscape

A new non-partisan advocacy group, the Independent Parliamentarians Advocacy Group Ghana (IPAGG), with a mission to transform Ghana's political landscape. IPAGG is dedicated to promoting and supporting independent parliamentary candidates across all 276 constituencies, advocating for their election as viable non-partisan members of Parliament.
According to Mr. John Yeboah, who is the founder of the group This initiative comes in response to the growing need for significant alter within Ghana's political system. By focusing on independent candidates, IPAGG aims to offer an alternative to the traditional party-driven approach that has dominated the country’s politics for years. The group believes that independent candidates can bring fresh perspectives and solutions to the obstacles facing Ghana.
He also stated that IPAGG's vision is to foster a more inclusive and representative parliamentary system where diverse voices are heard, and decisions are made in the best interest of the entire nation, free from partisan influences. The organization is committed to providing resources, support, and a platform for independent candidates to succeed in the political arena.
As the 2024 general elections approach, IPAGG plans to actively engage with voters, stakeholders, and the media to raise awareness about the importance of electing independent candidates. The group is also working to ensure that these candidates have the essential tools and support to campaign effectively and win seats in Parliament. He noted.
With this initiative, IPAGG hopes to inspire a movement that will lead to a more balanced and accountable political system in Ghana, ultimately contributing to the nation’s democratic growth and development.
