Fresh from his exhaustive interaction with the media Sunday night, Vice President and NPP Flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia also delivered another energetic address to thousands of supporters in Dansoman last night.
Dr. Bawumia, as part of his campaign tour, visited three of the Ablekuma constituencies namely West, South and Central.
He had series of engagements including what has become characteristic of his campaign where he meets and greets people on the streets, markets and lorry stations.
In his interactions earlier in the day, Dr. Bawumia sparked excitement being mobbed by enthusiastic traders as he arrived at Odorkor lorry station, kokompe and Mallam market.
The biggest crowd, however, waited for Dr. Bawumia in Dansoman where he put the icing on the cake of his busy campaign.
Music legend, Samini, a resident of Dansoman, thrilled the large crowd with his popular tunes including his latest single “No Pressure”.
The charged crowd responded wildly to Samini's latest banger; a crafty song in support of Dr. Bawumia's presidential bid as they awaited his arrival.
By the time Dr. Bawumia arrived, every space at the venue had been covered with people eager to catch a glimpse of him.
With a charged crowd in front of him, Dr. Bawumia delivered a potent rallying call reminding the audience of how former President Mahama represents the past and how a vote for Bawumia is a vote for the forward movement of Ghana to contemporary way of doing things and transformation.
While highlighting what he has done as Vice President and his new vision for the future as President, Dr. Bawumia quickly reminded the crowd of the "bad record" of Mahama when he was President which included the erstwhile government's inability to provide chalks to schools and a four-year dumsor crisis.
