The presidential candidate of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG) believes the 24-hour economy policy by the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is just a political tactic to win votes.
Mr Kofi Akpaloo maintained that Ghana ‘is not there’ yet for such a policy despite John Mahama's assurance that it is dowable.
“How is he going to do? Where in Ghana? let me be sincere to you, he [Mahama] cannot do it,” he emphatically stated in an interview with NEAT FM's morning show, 'Ghana Montie'.
Kofi Akpaloo further said the NDC would rather mismanage the economy than it is now with their “confused” policies.
“Someone [John Mahama] who said he will decrease import duty so people can import into the country. So if people are importing more, what is left to be produced in this country for his 24-hour economy?” He questioned.
