Former Chief Executive Officer of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Henry Kwabena Kokofu has waded into the 'resetting', 'upgrading' debate insisting Ghana needs an upgrade and not a reset.
Former President and the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), delivering a speech at his manifesto launch, emphasized the need for Ghana to be reset.
“Tomorrow, we take the first step towards resetting our dear nation Ghana. We face obstacles that have held us back for too long but now it’s time to build the Ghana we all want togetherhellip;Tomorrow, we commence the journey together”, Mahama, said.
However, his main opponent Vice President and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia says the country rather needs an upgrade and not a reset.
“What this country needs is an upgrade, not a reset. And if given the mandate, I will roll out the measures outlined in our recently launched manifesto to revamp the economy”, adding “I represent the future, and Ghana needs an upgrade, not a reset.”
Kokofu speaking to the issue on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo' suggested that Mahama would not have given Kwame Nkrumah Circle a new look if Ghana needed a 'reset'
