In a dedicated effort to address the educational resource gap in Ghana, Strong Woman Changemaker Africa, in collaboration with Nana Esi Oduma I, has launched the Nsuekyir Educational Empowerment Initiative.
This program aims to provide much-needed educational resources to students in Nsuekyir, Winneba in the Central Region, empowering them to succeed academically and become future leaders.
The Nsuekyir Educational Empowerment Initiative also seeks to equip students with essential learning materials such as books, school supplies, and other resources that will enable them to thrive.
Ms. Lamisi Adene, CEO of the foundation, explained the motivation behind the initiative: “This dream has been with me since childhood. I saw that many students in our communities lack the basic educational support they need, and I made it my personal mission to step in and help
.”Having started in Bolgatanga three years ago, Strong Woman Changemaker Africa has already made a significant impact, providing resources and support to students across Ghana.
The launch in Winneba represents the next step in expanding these efforts to more regions, with a focus on fostering academic growth and personal development among young people.
Through this program, the foundation hopes to inspire and empower the next generation of leaders and innovators in Ghana.
Ms. Adene extended her heartfelt thanks to the Queen Mother of the Effutu Traditional Area, Nana Oduma I, for her unwavering support in making the initiative a reality. She also called on parents to take an active role in their children’s education, encouraging them to ensure that their wards remain focused and determined to excel in school.
Nana Oduma I, the Odikrohemaa and Kyidomhemaa of Simpa, echoed this sentiment, urging students to prioritize their education. “At your age, your most significant task is to focus on your studies. Education is the key to becoming good leaders in your community,” she advised.
Solomon Sackey Sampa, Assembly Member for the Nsuekyir Electoral Area, pledged his full support for the program, emphasizing his commitment to promoting education in his constituency. “I am ready to assist in any way possible to improve the quality of education in this municipality,” he affirmed.
As the program takes off, Strong Woman Changemaker Africa is calling on individuals, organizations, and corporate bodies to join in supporting this crucial initiative.
Contributions in the form of books, educational supplies, or financial donations are welcomed to help ensure that every child in Nsuekyir has the chance to receive a quality education. This collective effort will not only transform lives but also contribute to the long-term development of the community.King Edward Ambrose Washman/
