The Vice President and flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has sent strong signal of his determination to win the presidential election as his campaign continues to gain momentum.
An essential feature of the Bawumia campaign is he personally interacting with people at their homes, markets and on the streets.
Since he was elected NPP presidential candidate, the Vice President hasn’t for once backed down on engaging the grassroots.
He ensures that he goes down to the people to seek their mandate to become Ghana’s next President.
In his latest round of campaign, Dr. Bawumia has been focused on a "meet and greet" campaign where he makes surprised appearances at shops, offices, markets, lorry parks and on the streets to interact with people.
Dr. Bawumia started his Western Regional campaign tour on Thursday, September 26.
He stepped up his street-to-street campaign with a renewed energy beginning at Daboase Junction in the Region.
To the amazement of commuters and residents, Dr. Bawumia, as usual, exhibited humbleness towards them and exchanged pleasantries with every person he encountered at the vicinity. He did same in Daboase and Shama townships, walking into the markets, shops and lorry parks to have one on one sessions with drivers, traders and commuters.
He continued his tour to Ahanta West engaging in rigorous street campaign at Apowa and Agona Nkwanta lorry parks.
Remarkably, Dr. Bawumia shows no signs of tiredness as he, at all occasions, walks for over 30 minutes even defying the rains to meet the people which tells of his readiness, seriousness and commitment to move Ghana forward.
