Parliament To Reconvene On October 15

Parliament is set to reconvene on October 15, 2024, at the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre.
This will be the fifth meeting of the fourth session of the eighth parliament of the Fourth Republic.
The relocation is due to the extensive renovation works being carried out in the main chamber of Parliament, which is the customary venue for its sessions. The renovations are part of a larger effort to modernize and improve the infrastructure of the Parliament building, ensuring a more functional and accommodating space for parliamentary activities.
A statement signed by the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Bagbin said “pursuant to order 58 of the standing orders of the Parliament of Ghana, I, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, Speaker of Parliament, hereby give notice that the fifth meeting of the fourth session of the eight parliament of the fourth republic shall take place in the Dome, Accra International Conference Centre, Accrahellip;”Rebeca Addo Tetteh/
