Highlife legend Amakye Dede has shockingly revealed that Ghana's National Lottery Authority (NLA) hasn't paid him a penny for using his all-time hit song "Dabi Dabi" as their signature tune to promote their lottery services.
Amakye Dede's "Dabi Dabi" became one of the main songs that the NLA used to begin their draws on national television and radio.
It is only proper to say that this song helped the Authority to attract new and larger customers, expanding their customer base.
The Legendary musician, popularly called "Iron Boy", expressed his disappointment in the Authority for not compensating him or paying him royalties ever since they played his song to make their game popular.
Amakye Dede revealed this in an exclusive interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM's drive time "Ekwanso Dwodwoo" on Friday, January 6, 2023.
He admonished the Chief Executive Officer of the NLA, Sammi Awuku, to pay him all his due for the NLA using his song.
