NDC MPs Occupy Majority Side Again As Parliament Reconvenes Today

Parliament is reconvening today, Thursday, November 7, following a suspension.
The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Bagbin, suspended Parliament indefinitely, but the NPP Caucus petitioned the Speaker to reconvene.
According to Emmanuel Akorle, Peace FM's Parliamentary correspondent, the NPP MPs despite their petition, have yet to enter the chamber, while the NDC Caucus is already seated.
Notably, the members of Parliament from the NDC have taken the majority side of the House, leaving the minority side entirely empty. This situation arose after the Speaker declared certain seats vacant on October 22, prompting the MPs to designate themselves as the majority.
Meanwhile, some political parties have asked both sides to step up and engage effectively. They have also asked Speaker Bagbin to settle the controversy surrounding the seating arrangement.
However, in a media interaction, the Speaker clarified that he does not control seating arrangements in the Chamber.Rebecca Addo Tetteh/
