Fear Grips NDC As Ejura Residents Joyfully Give Their Support To Bawumia

NPP presidential candidate, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia was welcomed by a mammoth crowd to Ejura while touring the Ejura-Sekyedumase Constituency on Wednesday.
Even though in the Ashanti Region, Ejura-Sekyedumase Constitunecy is one constituency the NDC has dominated over the years, the NPP however expresses determination to snatch the seat from the NDC in the December 7 parliamentary electons.
From observing the euphoric reactions of the constituents towards Dr. Bawumia exhibited through the outpouring of the residents to flank him, it sends positive signals that the NPP will give their opponents, mainly the NDC, a run for their money.
The NDC traditionally receives strong support from the large Zongo and Muslim communities in Ejura but this time, these sections of the community turned up in massive numbers to meer Dr. Bawumia at his community commect rally.
Evident through their actions, the traditional rulers, Imams and Chiefs from especially the Zongo areas as well as the Clergy in the community all proved they are in full support of Dr. Bawumia's bid to be Ghana's President in 2025.
At the community connect, the Clergy offered prayers for the Vice President before the Zongo delegation and commended Dr. Bawumia for his immense support to both the Zongos and Ejurama.
The biggest boost for Dr. Bawumia and the NPP parliamentary candidate was when the Ejura Traditional Council led by Barima Osei Hwediem II declared their unflinchng support for him, highlighting the government's countless development projects for the community and the entire nation.
Dr. Bawumia's endorsement to lead Ghana was further evident when a group of young men and women including many people said to be converts from the NDC expressed their eagerness to vote for him on December 7.
It was therefore quiet obvious that the choice of Dr. Bawumia as NPP flagbearer has made a significant impact in Ejura and its environs sending shivers down the spine of the opposition NDC.Ameyaw Adu Gyamfi/
