Bawumias Great Leadership Skill Is What Will Move Ghana Forward Fmr Prez Kufuor

Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has commended Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for exhibiting what he terms as good conduct and unifying traits over the years.

In an interview on Asempa FM, the respected former President described Dr. Bawumia as a "unifier", stressing his behavior is "good for the country".

"I have observed his good conduct. He is not divisive...Everyone knows he is a Muslim but he has a great relationship with Christians. It is very significant because, in this country, many try to use religion to create a wedge...He is also a northerner but he gets along so well with everybody", he affirmed the NPP presidential candidate, Bawumia's presidential bid.

The former President further reposed confidence in the Vice President to transform Ghana if elected President, adding Dr. Bawumia has through his remarkable pursuit of innovation and digitalisation  demonstrated understanding of what is required of a contemporary leader to transform a country.
