A group of members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (N.P.P) have rendered their dissatisfaction with the incumbent Member of Parliament for Klottey Korle constituency Zanetor Rawlings by describing her 8 year tenure as one of few achievements and more complaints. They made this statement on one of the campaign rounds in the constituency over the weekend.
The group reiterated that Zanetor Rawlings had failed to meet the expectations of many residents of the constituency by not tackling the real issues in the ground. “Zanetor hasn’t really done anything but repeatedly talks about some footbridges and some free health screening exercises; things that even S.R.Cs (students representative council) can do”, they argued.
A popular interview with Zanetor Rawlings on GhOne Tv in June 27th 2024, saw the Member of Parliament, when asked about her achievements, commence by mentioning footbridges; something she said again on Happy Fm this year when asked about her achievements.
These statements have come in the wake of an imminent election for a Member of Parliament on 7th December 2024.
