The founder and leader of the All Peoples Congress (APC) political social gathering, Hassan Ayariga says the 30 % lower in salaries of political workplace holders will "breed high level of corruption."
To Ayariga, the political workplace holders "will find a way of getting it from different angles."
In April, after the Cabinet retreat of the primary quarter, and recognizing the deteriorating macroeconomy, the government introduced a 30 per cent lower in salaries of the President, Vice President, Ministers, Deputy Ministers, MMDCEs and political workplace holders, amongst different measures.
Addressing the nation on Sunday, President Akufo-Addo reiterated that the lower will proceed to stay in pressure.
But in a response, Hassan Ayariga posted on Facebook: "Mr. President, reducing thirty % salaries of political workplace holders will breed excessive stage of CORRUPTION in your government. Because your officers will discover a means of getting it from completely different angles.
