Actor and politician John Dumelo has taken to social media to publicly congratulate his wife, Gifty Mawunya Dumelo, on her recent achievement.

In an Instagram post shared on his official account, Dumelo expressed his excitement and pride in his wife being called to the Ghana Bar, and congratulated her on her new title as "Mrs. Gifty Mawunya Dumelo Esq."

She is the little sister of seasoned actress Selassie Ibrahim and prior to her marriage to John Dumelo, she was a Ghanaian lawyer based in the United Kingdom.

Mrs. Dumelo is a graduate of Central University and also holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).

Dumelo's Instagram post has since gone viral, receiving thousands of likes and comments from fans and well-wishers across the globe.

As a proud husband, Dumelo has already lined up cases for his wife to tackle, as he looks forward to his contribution to the legal profession.

The couple have been married since May 2018, and have a son and daughter together.
