2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers: Ghana Face Mali In Group I | Soccer/Soccer

Ghana have been paired with Mali, Madagascar, Central African Republic, Comoros and Chad in Group I of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. This was revealed during the official draw in Abidjan on Thursday, July 13, 2023.
Ghana are the only country with a World Cup participation in this Group having played at the Mundial on four occasions (2006, 2010, 2014 and 2022).
Winners of each Group will qualify for the FIFA World Cup™ 2026 as the four best runners-up (from the Groups) will play in a CAF Play-Off tournament.
The winner of the CAF Play-Off Tournament will play in the FIFA Play-off Tournament.
The Africa qualifying matches will take place over ten Matchdays during the next two years: commencing 13-21 November 2023.
