Ghana Leadership Awards Matthew Opoku Prempeh Named Most Influential Minister

Energy Minister, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh was on Saturday, 23rd December, 2023 named the "Most Influential Minister" of the year at the Ghana LeadershipLeadership Award is an annual award scheme that aims at honouring and celebrating personalities for their exceptional and exemplary leadership in their fields of endeavours in advancing the development of Ghana and Africa at large.
The ceremony which took place at the La-Palm Royal Beach Hotel yesterday honoured over 100 extraordinary leaders in the country from all spheres of life of which Dr Aboagye won the "National Health Leader Award for 2023".
Speaking at the event, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the awards, Professor Emmanuel Nash said this year's event honours individuals who have made a difference by inspiring others as well as contributing immensely to Ghana's socio-economic growth.
Some of winners of this leadership award include President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, former President John Dramani Mahama, the late Ex-President Jerry John Rawlings, former President John Agyekum Kufuor, former Auditor-General Daniel Yaw Domelevo, former United Nations Secretary General, Kofi Annan and a host of others.
It may also be recalled that Dr. Opoku Prempeh was a day before this award named "Minister of the Year 2023" at the 5th Ghana Ministers of State Excellence Honours for his sterling performance as Minister for Energy.
