GH Celebrities Show Massive Support For Asantewaas Sing A Thon World Record Attempt At Akwaaba Village

Ghanaians are showing massive support for Afua Asantewaa in her sing-a-thon world record attempt and some celebrities have joined the euphoria by going to the Akwaaba Village where the event is taking place.
The likes of Nana Ama McBrown, Sista Afia, Lekzy Decomic, Lawyer Nti, Abiana, Cina Soul, Kwabena Kwabena, Clemento Suarez, Lawyer Nti, and OB Amponsah have been there.
Just some few minutes for Asantewaa to hit the first 24 hours, popular actress and television host, Nana Ama McBrown was seen in the crowd cheering on Asantewaa.
McBrown’s energy was quite infectious, having a positive impact Asantewaa to get her groove back, when she had noticeably started signs of fatigue.
According to McBrown, she’s very confident in the abilities of Asantewaa to break the record and make Ghana proud.
“You can do it, we believe in you. Do it for Ghana,” she said.
At the time of filing this report, Afua Asantewaa had done more than 40 hours of singing as she eyes to break the Guinness World Singathon record, which currently stands at 105 hours.
There are a lot of well-wishers on social media, notably among them is the Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, who wrote in a social media post, “Wishing Afua Asantewaa Aduonum all the best as she takes on the test of breaking the singathon record set by Indian singer Sunil Waghmare.
“Your passion and talent shine brightly, and I am confident you’ll absolutely make history. Keep shining your heart out. We are with you.”
The record is currently held by Indian Sunil Waghmare, who earned the milestone after singing for 105 hours from March 3 to March 7, 2012.
At the moment, expectations are high for Asantewaa to reach and break the world record on Thursday morning.graphiconline
