Bawumia Is A Man On A Mission Determined By DestinyAccept Him Kufuor Tells Ghanaians

Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has extolled the Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, describing him as “a man of destiny”

Speaking at the University of Professional Studies (UPSA) in Accra before Vice President Bawumia’s address, Mr Kufuor recalled an earlier encounter where he asked Bawumia to “Carry on like that and you will go far.”

According to him, “This man is on a mission determined by destiny; please let’s all accept him to persisthellip;we happen to be living in a time where the whole world is in flux; where quality leadership is very scarce."

He said unlike other leaders, Bawumia is endowed with abilities in both Digitalization and Geo politics as well as “hallmarked by humility and the temperance requisite for the job.”

“Additionally, we’ve seen him perform loyally under President Akufo-Addohellip;” he stated.

Former President Kufuor further noted that the country is at a “crossroads”, hence the need to depart from “regular politics” and it is Bawumia who will be able to do that; combining new innovation and Geo Politics.

Meanwhile, he has urged that the party focus on the nation and not itself.

“We should be talking about the nation and not so much about the party. We must get competent people to work with him (Bawumia) to get us out (current obstacles)...I’m appealing to the whole nationhellip;I have a very strong feeling that he is the man of the moment and Ghana must accept him,” he added.
