The younger military officer who seized energy in Burkina Faso's newest coup has been sworn in as interim president.
As he took the oath of workplace, Capt Ibrahim Traoré, 34, promised to win again territory from Islamist militants, and to carry elections in July 2024.
September's coup was the second in Burkina Faso prior to now eight months.
Thousands have been killed and two million individuals pressured from their properties in the course of the nation's seven-year insurgency.
