On Friday, 6th September 2024, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Flagbearer of the NPP, as part of his nationwide Constituency Campaign Tour, visited the Adentan Constituency. During the visit, he engaged in what he calls a "Meet-and-Greet" session from Ashaley Botwe New Town Junction to Nmaidzorn School Junction to interact with traders, drivers and their passengers as well as passers-by.
He also engaged in a meeting with the Clergy and Traditional Leaders at the Victory Presby Church and later held a Community Connect event at the Adentan Lorry Station.
In his speech, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia highlighted the achievements of the NPP administration in the last 8 years and spoke about his vision for the nation as captured in the NPP manifesto for this year's elections.
Dr. Bawumia also took some quality time to speak highly of Akosua Asaa Manu (Kozie), saying that, Kozie has demonstrated a lot of commitment to serving the Adentan Constituency, and that is what has begun to show in the developmental projects she has secured into the Constituency.
Dr Bawumia asked the people of Adentan to vote massively for Kozie because she has started serving the Constituency even before she is voted for as the MP. He mentioned the Container Road as an example of what Kozie is capable of doing when voted for as the MP.
He concluded his speech by saying that Kozie cares, and that, if you vote for Bawumia, vote for Kozie, and if you vote for Kozie, vote for Bawumia.
