Violent Democracy Hub Demonstrators Arrested Police

Some members of the Democracy Hub group who were seen engaging in violent acts around the 37 Roundabout where they are picketing have been arrested by the Police.
It comes after police cautioned them not to converge at the same spot today since it was impeding traffic flow and inconveniencing the public.
The arrested demonstrators were seen pushing down police crash barriers, blocking the main 37 road and harassing commuters.
Statement
The Ghana Police Service today arrested some of the Democracy Hub demonstrators who engaged in acts of lawlessness including blocking the road, pushing down Police crash barriers and obstructing traffic.
The Police are on manhunt to arrest one of their leaders Oliver Vormawor and others who engaged in some acts of lawlessness at the 37 Intersection.
We would like to assure the public that the Police will arrest all the perpetrators involved and bring them to face justice.
